- I'm a free-lance writer from rural PA. I began writing for the Pittsburgh Trib Sunday magazine in the early 90s and still send them columns from time to time, which they sometimes publish. In addition, I've placed essays and columns in 4 other magazines, an online writing site, and regional publications. I live in a small ranch house on 7 acres. A husband and a dog and cat keep me company. I'm a volunteer dog walker at an area animal shelter, where I'm known as the clumsiest walker, more of a tripper, actually. The dogs think I'm hilarious.
